The Full Story

About Heidi

I like to think of my life as if it were a crazy book with many, diverse chapters, each having been a challenging and rewarding adventure. In the current chapter, I feel happy, healthy and whole, although the journey to get here has been a compilation of heartbreak and success.  My goal is to share the lessons and triumphs to make your life easier, fun and successful!

The Childhood Chapter

I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and am the

the oldest of 4 children- me, Holly, Ted, and Kent. Needless to say, I was kind of thrown into leadership at a young age; it's intrinsic to my soul.

While in high school at the all-girl school, Sacred Heart Academy, I tried out for a play at St. Xavier High School (the all-boy school counterpart). I met a cute boy in that play and had a feeling I would probably marry him someday...well, I did.  Spoiler alert - it was Sean Fore.  He's been my counterpart now for 20+ years and for that, I'm grateful.

I attended Xavier University and graduated Magnum Cum Laude with a business degree in 3 years.  My plan was to be an attorney with my dad and grandpa, but when they passed away, my dream died with them. If I couldn't work with them, I was out. They were my role models; it was them or nothing

I needed to figure out who I was without them.

I needed to make them proud of who I would become.

The Real Estate Agent Chapter

I stumbled into real estate after college in 2002 and pretty much haven't looked back.  I credit some of my early success to mastering SEO during the internet's true infant stages. It pays to learn new technologies, folks!

Myself and my team have personally helped countless buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals and continue to do so with coaching and mentoring thrown into the mix.

Sean and I married in 2004 and we quickly began family life by adding our boys, Charleston and Sam.

We strolled along adding crucial real estate and business experience along the way like starting and growing KW Market Centers in the Ohio Valley Region which we later sold off to focus on investment growth and coaching.

The Jamaica Chapter

In 2015, when the boys were 4 and 6 years old, our family dedicated a big part of our lives to children living at group homes in Jamaica. Through teaching, leading church services, and volunteering, I was lucky enough to be a part of the lives of 50 kids. We were there for the majority of 3 1/2 years, so much so I officially became a Jamaican resident.

While there, we officially became a foster family. We had a lovely, amazing daughter who lived with us full time and had a second daughter who was with us part-time. I will always love my girls and I look forward to the day when I will hug them again and see their sweet smiles. I trust God's plan for their lives, and I know He knows when we'll see each other again.

While in Jamaica, the real estate team in the USA held it together and still sold over 100 houses per year in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Zoom and great documented procedures to the rescue!

Among the chaos of volunteering, fostering and navigating a new culture, I helped Rory Marsh found KW Jamaica, which continues to be a great success!

Investor Chapter

I reached a point where I felt like I was working too much as a realtor, so I worked some more (naturally) to become a real estate coach which provided me more flexibility with my workspace and location. I hired great folks to man the real estate sales while I managed and coached. It added income for me to expand my investments and gain real-life knowledge of investing.

I then focused on finding real estate rental properties, and while I was on the hunt,  I documented how I found and how I financed them. I documented the procedures for managing, filling them and their upkeep. Once I was confident in the systems I had in place, I created an online course to teach other investors what I'd learned, all the while, I kept adding to my portfolio.

Coaching and Training Chapter

Over the last 20 years, I have spoken on stages in many cities across the US and Jamaica about how to have a successful career as a realtor, while saving your profits, and leveraging that to buy enough rental houses to retire if you so choose.  I choose to keep working and mentoring.  It's what I love!

My coaching clients give me motivation everyday to help them stay on track.  It's what I love most: seeing my clients achieve their goals. I love results and hard work and they show me both and it fuels my soul!

I also feel it's important to teach kids and teens the value and respect of money, so I have also created a program for teaching them about all things money.  Good money management should begin in the home and I can help with that too!

If you want to see and learn more, I give tips throughout the week in my podcast, YouTube videos, Facebook pages, Instagram, and in my blog posts. Go check them out!
